Interactive Design

The Interactive Design concentration within the Design degree emphasizes the creation of  meaningful experiences through user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. Whether exploring user interfaces, emerging technologies, or comprehensive design systems, students develop the expertise to excel in the ever-evolving field of interactive design.

Students delve into a broad spectrum of design areas, including websites, mobile apps, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), data visualization, mid-air gestures, video games, artificial intelligence (AI), and multimodal interactions. Through human-centered research methods, they ensure their designs prioritize user needs and desires, empowering those who interact with them.

Our program extends beyond isolated projects; it focuses on creating cohesive systems—interfaces, digital products, brands, and environments—integrated into holistic and meaningful experiences.

In the Bachelor of Design program, students begin with a shared design core during their first two years, exploring various design disciplines. Afterward, students can select this innovative concentration to specialize in and complete their studies.
