Master of Music Performance

The Master of Music in Performance program at Loyola will prepare you to share your gift with others.

Whether your talent is vocal or instrumental, this program will provide you with the knowledge that you need to succeed as you turn your passion into a career.

The degree is designed for students who wish to teach applied music at an advanced level. Concentration may be elected in voice, organ, harpsichord, piano, church music, or any orchestral instrument.

Auto [Expedited] Admit Program for LOYNO Students

Are you a Loyola New Orleans graduating senior or current alum? You could be eligible for the auto admit program. The School of Music will auto admit eligible Loyola New Orleans students who meet the following criteria:

  • seniors who received a BM or BMT can be admitted into the equivalency MMT program or MM degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • seniors who wish to enter the online MMT should have completed their on-campus BMT coursework and be participating in the 6-month internship. Final acceptance to the MMT program is contingent upon successful completion of the internship and passing the BC-MT credentialing exam.
