Our Compass

Mission Statement

Loyola University New Orleans, a Catholic university in the Jesuit tradition, welcomes students of diverse backgrounds and prepares them to lead meaningful lives with and for others. Rooted in the liberal arts and inspired by Saint Ignatius of Loyola's vision of finding God in all things, we pursue truth, wisdom, and virtue; educate the whole person; and work for a more just world.
