Wolf Pack Wednesday: Greek Life

Subject line: Guide to Greek Life ✨

Sent: August 12

Fraternity and Sorority Life

Loyola's fraternal community provides opportunities for growth and excellence in academics, service, social interaction, intramural athletics, and values-based leadership. It's also a great way to make lifelong friendships. With 14 Greek-lettered organizations, joining a fraternity or sorority is an excellent way to get involved at Loyola.

Who Can Join Greek Life at Loyola?

Membership is open to all full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate students with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Fraternity and sorority life makes up about 15% of the undergraduate population, so you’ll be in good company.

How Do I Join a Fraternity or Sorority?

All recruitment and new member processes this year will follow Loyola’s COVID-19 guidelines for social distancing and safety. Organizations are offering both on-ground programs, following CDC and university guidelines, as well as virtual options to allow you to get to know the organizations and find the right fit. Check out our Fraternities and Sororities page to see a full list of our Greek organizations and learn how to join a chapter. If you have any questions or concerns about the intake or recruitment processes, please contact gogreek@loyno.edu. A Greek Life advisor will be happy to answer your questions.
