Learn more about English J-term study abroad programs for 2026!

Want to spend your winter break exploring fabulous spots in Europe like Florence, London, or Reykjavik? The English department and CIE have three fantastic J-terms that you might be interested in!

This info session is hosted by the faculty directors for each program: Emily Capdeville, Vanessa Saunders, and Tracey Watts. Come to Bobet Hall Room 219 to learn more about the courses, the costs, and the application process for the J-term study abroad. All interested students are welcome!

Loyola's Center for International Education invites Loyola's international community to an in-person immigration information session and Q&A. The session is particularly geared toward internationals in F-1, J-1, H-1B and Permanent Residence status, but all internationals are welcome to attend.

Our next session (our LAST for this semester) in the Multicultural Room of the Danna Center (first floor) will be on Wednesday, April 9 from 12PM - 2PM. Our hosts will be some of our current students from Vietnam who will be happy to talk about their home country and share their favorite Vietnamese snacks!

Join CIE and ISA on March 22 from 2PM to 5PM in the ResQuad for this celebration of New Orleans' vibrant Greek community! Taste amazing food, hear local music, and get to know your Greek neighbors. 

Mark your calendars! On April 30, the International Student Association, together with the Center for International Education, will be hosting our annual International Student Scholarship Soirée in the Audubon Room of the Danna Center from 5PM to 7PM.

STUDENTS! Did you know that the federal government could award you up to $8,000 for study abroad? All Pell Grant recipients are eligible (and encouraged!) to apply for the Gilman Scholarship for Study Abroad. The award cycle is open now (deadline 3/6) for funding that could cover your trip abroad during next year's J-term.

The Center for International Education is offering a group advising session and writing workshop for students applying for the prestigious Gilman Scholarship. Join us in-person in Founders Hall 223 to find out the best tips and tricks for making your application truly competitive.
