Join CIE, ISA, and Cultural Connections for CIE's Spring Semester Kickoff & King Cake Tasting! We'll be serving coffee and free samples of king cake made at various local New Orleans bakeries. 

This is a great opportunity to meet our new international students and welcome them to campus, as well as a great time to learn more about the many exciting programs our Study Abroad Office has to offer. 

Everyone has an opportunity to study abroad--come learn about yours!

Join us on February 20 from 12PM - 2PM in the Peace Quad to explore J-term, summer, semester and year long programs. You'll have the opportunity to chat with study abroad returnees, international exchange students from our partner universities abroad, directors of our Summer Faculty-Led programs, representatives from different study abroad program providers, and CIE staff.

All students are welcome to attend!

Join CIE for a CUP OF CULTURE! The Culture Cup is an international and internationally minded lounge space for all students to join with FREE coffee and snacks. 

Our first session for Spring 2025 in the Multicultural Room of the Danna Center (first floor) will be on Wednesday, January 29 from 12PM - 2PM. Dr. Pablo Zavala and Dr. Diana Soto-Olson will be co-hosting a session on Mexico and Mexican culture; they'll also be happy to talk about their summer program in Mexico City.

All interested students are more than welcome to attend!

Join CIE on Wednesday, December 4, from 12:30PM - 1:30PM, in our offices in Founders Hall Room 223. Cookie expert Emily Capdeville (one of Loyola's faculty members in the English department!) will show students how to decorate beautiful holiday cookies. Following the program overview, attendees will enter a breakout room with their Fulbright Program Adviser(s) (FPA) to learn more about applying through their institution.
