Get Involved. Express yourself. Have fun.
With more than 120 active student organizations at Loyola, it won’t be hard to find something that fits your interests. We want to introduce you to a few ways you can learn about events and curricular activities happening virtually and on campus! Be on the lookout for a brand new transfer student organization! If you are seeking to meet other transfer students, as well as gain tools and resources to be successful at Loyola, consider joining. For more information, contact Dale Hall at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are excited to introduce you to our student engagement platform, HowlConnect, where you can find meaningful campus opportunities (both virtual and on-ground) and easily manage your involvement in events and student organizations. You sign in to HowlConnect through your Single Sign On (SSO) portal and create an account to track your co-curriculars and check into events. If you are having trouble logging in, please reach out to the IT Help Desk at 504.865.2255 or at email@example.com.
Corq is the mobile app for HowlConnect. Corq helps students discover co-curricular opportunities happening on campus, virtually, and at other local universities. View active student organizations and access your Event Pass, so you can easily check into events. You can also use the Perks filter to view events that offer credit or have free food and swag. Download Corq for free from your app store and stay updated with everything going on at Loyola!
Meet Your Student Government Association
Ranked #20 in the country by The Princeton Review, Loyola’s Student Government Association (SGA) is deeply involved in matters affecting our campus community. From racial equity issues to sustainability measures to community service, your SGA is here for you on the topics that matter. The SGA also plays a big role in campus fun, hosting signature events through the University Programming Board (UPB) like Wolf Pack Wednesday, which gives students the chance to show their Loyola pride. Weekly giveaways are offered on the front porch of the Danna Student Center to those wearing maroon, gold, or Loyola gear! Get to know the student leaders that represent this year’s SGA.
