Magis Moment: September 2026

 A Message from the Vice President of University Advancement 

There is something special about Fall at Loyola. Campus comes back to life as students embark on the next chapter of their academic journey. The familiar paths along St. Charles are busy again, classrooms are filled with conversation, and there is a renewed sense of possibility in the air. Perhaps what I love most about this time of year is the opportunity to come together. At Loyola, community is not simply something we talk about; it is something we experience: in a classroom discussion, over a shared meal at the Danna Center, while cheering on the Wolf Pack in the Den, and through acts of service for others. 

The Fall calendar is full of opportunities to connect and celebrate. We will gather for Mass of the Holy Spirit on September 3, celebrate the 1912 Society Masquerade on October 1, reminisce on 50 years of LUCAP on October 23-25, connect with our alumni at the College of Business Luncheon on November 6, and cheer on our Golden Wolves at the Class of 1976 Reunion on November 14. These are just some of the amazing opportunities to come together. There are many more on the horizon. 

Each of these moments is different, but together, they remind us of what makes Loyola special. We are a community that learns together, celebrates together, serves together, and continues to grow together. As the pace of the semester picks up, I hope you will take time to be a part of it. Reconnect with a friend, meet someone new, cheer for the Pack, share your Loyola story, find a way to give back. These moments may seem small, but they are the threads that strengthen the fabric of our community.

I am excited for all that Fall will bring, and I am even more excited that I will get to experience it with you.
