Magis Moment: November 2025
A Message from the Vice President of University Advancement
Every day, University Advancement gets to help connect donors with opportunities that are meaningful to them. Their generosity helps students achieve their academic goals, improves the experiences of everyone on campus, and increases opportunities for further growth and development as everyone on campus strives to live with Jesuit values at their center. From a donor contacting me because they want to make a small gift in gratitude for an experience they had on campus to a donor agreeing to make a $1 million investment in the future of Wolf Pack Athletics. Every day is another opportunity to see the part we all play, the beauty we add to this community.
Beyond having the incredible experience of connecting donors with opportunities, I get to see those gifts make an impact in real time, a perfect example of that is seeing our student artists gain real experience at Funk Fest, which was supported by the Hilton Endowed Chair funds. Funds like these support students performing at local festivals, giving our students live performance experience while allowing our community to enjoy the immense talent that Loyola students and alumni offer.
There is truly a feeling in the air at this time of year, a reminder that there are things to be grateful for at every turn. I hope your month is full of moments of gratitude, and I hope you know how thankful I am for you and for the ways that you make Loyola proud.
Sincerely,

Stephanie Hotard '04, M.B.A. '10
