Four days of intensive jazz improvisation experience in a small group setting taught by Loyola University New Orleans Jazz Faculty. Musicians will learn improvisation and ensemble performance in a small group setting. We accept students with one year of experience and up. You must be 14 years old to stay in the dorms.

Step off the beaten path and into the groove. Jazz Underground showcases boundary-pushing sounds, bold improvisation, and the raw energy of artists exploring the edges of the jazz tradition.

Step below the surface for an intimate night of genre-bending jazz with 9 Horses, the acclaimed trio led by mandolinist Joseph Brent, bassist Andrew Ryan, and violinist Sara Caswell. Known for their exquisite blend of chamber music sophistication, jazz improvisation, and cinematic warmth, 9 Horses creates soundscapes that are as daring as they are deeply human.

Join us for a captivating evening celebrating the rich, sonorous beauty of the trombone. Featuring an ensemble of vibrant voices in harmony, the Loyola Trombone Choir under Evan Conroy presents warmth, depth, and brilliance in a concert that promises both power and grace.

Most brush off her warning, but unease begins to spread. Days later, fear takes hold when several animals make a startling decision: they plan to Become Human.

A camera breaks and four friends conjure spirits (both spectral and alcoholic) as they unravel four interwoven narratives spanning seven centuries: a warped fairy tale about two sisters and a treehouse astronomer; a retelling of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Fall of the House of Usher; a purgatorial intermezzo about Scheherazade and the ghost of Thelonious Monk; and a contemporary fable about a subway murder.

Join our Community Partner, the New Orleans Vocal Arts Chorale, as they open their season with REMEMBER, a concert featuring Faure’s Requiem and Powell’s Cry of Jeremiah. With chamber orchestra, in collaboration with the Baton Rouge Symphony Chorus.

Join us at Loyola as we celebrate the season with the humorous and beautiful song cycle, Letters to Santa by Logan Skelton, as well as other holiday selections.

Tickets are $10 for Adults (General Admission), but free for students and children!
