2022 Law Alumni Luncheon

The Loyola University New Orleans College of Law invites you to the Annual Law Alumni Luncheon. We will honor Judge Carl Stewart, J.D. ’74, H ’14 as the 2022 recipient of the St. Ives Award.

This event will begin with a cocktail reception at 11:00 am followed by a seated luncheon starting at noon.

Virtual Cocktail Seminar

Join award winning author, attorney and cocktail historian Philip Greene, J.D. ’86 as he demonstrates how to make classics like the Tom Collins, Mojito, Southside, Daiquiri, and Jack Rose, the local favorites Hurricane and Ramos Gin Fizz, as well as the modern classic, the Jungle Bird. Greene will also discuss the history and folklore of these drinks, and their cameo appearances in movies, literature, and popular culture.

Cocktail recipes are shared with participants in advance of the program for those who’d like to make their own drinks at home.

Virtual Ignatian Retreat

As part of the Ignatian Year, the Alumni Association is offering a Virtual Ignatian Retreat in honor of the celebration of the Feast of St. Ignatius. The virtual retreat will start on Monday, July 26, and conclude with a Feast of St. Ignatius Mass on Saturday, July 31st. Retreat participants will receive a recorded prompt focusing on a different Jesuit value each morning. After reflecting on that value throughout the day, participants will come together for small group discussion via Zoom later in the afternoon.

Loyola Loyal Day

The university's annual day of giving, Loyola Loyal Day gives alumni and friends across the country an opportunity to celebrate and support our mission of providing a premier Jesuit education in New Orleans' culture of creativity. Loyola Loyal Day 2021 will be held on March 24 and 25.

In 2021, it's not the amount of the gift that matters! It's the number of gifts. #BeInThatNumber

Alumni can volunteer to help lead the way on the big day by attending the Loyola Loyola Kick-Off Event on March 10. 

King Cake Cooking Class

The Loyola University New Orleans Alumni Association invites you a virtual King Cake Cooking Class presented by alumna Chef Amy Sins ’98 of Langlois Culinary Crossroads.
Celebrate Carnival season by learning to make Chef Sins' signature king cake—a delicious mix of bananas foster and king cake, all in easy-to-make individual servings. While you prepare this festive dish, Chef Sins will chat with you about the history of Mardi Gras, king cake, and all of the Carnival fun that happens in New Orleans.

Wolves on the Prowl: Chicago

The Loyola University Alumni Association invites you to participate in the 21st Annual Wolves on the Prowl Community Service Campaign in Chicago.

Volunteers will help sort, package, and distribute produce delivered from the Greater Chicago Food Depository to residents of the West Humboldt Park neighborhood. Please dress warmly, as the event takes place outdoors.
