Gilman Info Session

Are you a U.S. citizen who receives a Pell Grant? Are you planning to study abroad? Attend our student panel to hear from Gilman Scholars about the application process and their experience abroad.

Interested in studying abroad in Germany? Consider an exchange program at TU Dortmund! 

Students are cordially invited to attend this general information session hosted by our partners at TUDO on October 19, at 11AM CST (6PM CEST). The session will be hosted virtually--register in advance by October 17 to participate!

Please join us for an interactive Group Presentation Session (GPS) to learn about opportunities for U.S. citizens to pursue graduate or professional study, conduct research, or teach English. During the session, you will find out about the types of Fulbright awards, application components, tips, and get your questions answered. Following the program overview, attendees will enter a breakout room with their Fulbright Program Adviser(s) (FPA) to learn more about applying through their institution.

This virtual event is a general information session about all things Study Abroad at Loyola, presented by CIE's Study Abroad Office. The session will cover:

• different types and locations of Study Abroad programs
• how to start planning for a Study Abroad experience
• scholarship and financial aid opportunities
• other frequently asked questions

A Q&A session will follow the presentation. All students are welcome!

Please join the Student Employment Office for this workshop which will provide students with an overview on SNAP Benefits, how to apply, and answer questions regarding the eligibility and application process. 

Each semester, CIE hosts Pre-Departure Orientation for Loyola students studying abroad! This orientation session will prepare them for their trip and time studying internationally. We invite all outgoing study abroad students, returning study abroad students, and current international and exchange students from the countries where we are sending students. It's a great time for everyone to start getting excited about their trip!

If you're interested in joining us on our amazing summer adventure in Paris, France please plan on attending our upcoming information session. Students embarking on this trip have the opportunity to earn Loyola class credits, experience a month of life in a beautiful city, and have the adventure of a lifetime!

If you'd like to learn more, please join us for our information session on Tuesday, Dec. 7th at 5pm, in the Music/Mass Comm building, Room 303. 

Loyola Exchange programs allow students to go abroad for a semester (or year) to take regular courses at the host institution and immerse themselves in the host culture. To learn the basics about each of our programs, register here for the Zoom event on Friday 5 February from 12:30pm – 2:00pm.
