This session will provide an introduction to what fellowships are, how to find these competitive opportunities, and tips for applying. We’ll also highlight specific fellowships for current students and recent graduates, including international fellowship programs such as Fulbright, CLS, CBYX, DAAD, and more.

Interested in spending your J-Term in Bolivia? Come learn more!

Join Dr. Mazhar Islam for an info session about Loyola’s new Bolivia J-Term Program, January 3–14, 2027. This three-credit, faculty-led experience takes students beyond the classroom to explore entrepreneurship, economic development, and culture in Bolivia.

Join CIE for a CUP OF CULTURE! The Culture Cup is an international and internationally minded lounge space for all students to join with FREE coffee and snacks. 

Discover Vietnam through an exchange program with RMIT University! 

Students are invited to attend one of two one-hour webinars where they can explore the enriching experience of an exchange or study abroad semester at RMIT Vietnam. These sessions will provide students with insights into:

• Student life and cultural experiences in Vietnam
• Support services
• Application process and key deadlines

RMIT's Global Experience Office will also be available for Q&A session to share firsthand experiences and answer any questions.

Dr. Curry O'Day, the program's faculty director, will be leading this info session about the program. Come to Monroe Library Room 147 to learn more about the course, the costs, and the application process for the J-term study abroad.

Immigration Conversations Fall 2026: What you need to know about recent changes in immigration law, maintaining your status, travel, and your immigration journey after graduation.

Beginning September 15, 2026, the current system of Duration of Status (D/S) is scheduled to be replaced by a system that generally provides a specific end date for an individual's authorized stay in the United States.

Just returning to Loyola after studying abroad? CIE is welcoming all returnees or past study abroad alumni to visit our new office on September 23rd from 5:30-7:30 PM for a fun returnee event! Stop by for food, games, and a safe space to discuss your study abroad experiences with people who actually get it -- all returnees are invited!
