Each semester, CIE hosts Pre-Departure Orientation for Loyola students studying abroad! This orientation session will prepare them for their trip and time studying internationally. We invite all outgoing study abroad students, returning study abroad students, and current international and exchange students from the countries where we are sending students. It's a great time for everyone to start getting excited about their trip! 

This event is by invitation only. 

CIE invites you to the 2022 International Soirée fundraiser and reception on April 29 from 5:00-7:00PM. This year, we will highlight the food and culture of Brazil and will offer international art items at our popular silent auction. All proceed will go towards the International Student Scholarship fund. 

The International Student Association will host the March edition of Coffee@CIE! Join us and try Colombian specialties prepared by our international students from Colombia for free! The food pop-up will be in front of the Danna Center on March 31 starting at 12:15 pm.

Are you interested in studying abroad? You may be eligible to apply for the U.S. State Department's Gilman Scholarship, which awards up to $8000. Join us for an information session where you'll learn how to craft competitive essays and get tips from past recipients. Loyola students consistently win these awards. Now's your turn!

You'll have the opportunity to chat with study abroad returnees, international exchange students from our partner universities abroad, directors of our Summer Faculty-Led programs, representatives from different study abroad program providers, and CIE staff.
