Wolf Pack Welcome

Wolf Pack Welcome is our orientation program to kick off the fall semester for the newest members of the Pack! There are a variety of programs and events to help you prepare for classes, meet other incoming students, participate in Loyola traditions, and more. Some programming includes New Student Convocation, keynote speakers discussing social justice and sexual assault, fun late-night socials, and so much more! Wolf Pack Welcome is mandatory for all first-year students, both residential and commuter. 

Lent with the Pack

Join the Loyola University New Orleans community in an online reflection experience during Lent. Faculty, staff, students, and alumni will share personal reflections on the daily scriptures, which are emailed out in English or Spanish to subscribers each morning throughout Lent and include questions to help you reflect on how the scriptures and topics relate to your life. Busy Persons Retreat

Are you too busy for a retreat, but still want to grow spiritually? Participate in the Busy Persons Retreat from Monday through Thursday during Loyola Week! Only 1 hour per day commitment at times and places (virtual or in-person) convenient to you. There are materials provided for guidance if you want, however, this retreat is very open and self-guided if you want it to be. Go HERE to learn more and register. 

Awakening

The Awakening Retreat encourages students to experience the love of God through community. It's a great way to connect with other students and explore your spirituality. This weekend-long retreat is held at the beautiful Solomon Episcopal Conference Center in Loranger, LA. Based in our Jesuit, Catholic values, the Awakening Retreat is open to students from all religious and non-religious backgrounds who are looking to explore or grow in their spirituality. Fee waivers are available.

Wilderness Immersion Trip - Spring

This Wilderness Immersion is an experience that focuses on building community, having fun away from campus in nature, and engaging in eco-spirituality/environmental justice. Participants will stay in comfy cabins and participate in nature hiking, paddling canoes in the lake, eating s'mores over bonfires, and lots of fun activities in community. It takes place once each semester at Chicot State Park, LA about 3 hours from Loyola's campus - transportation and meals provided.
