Recycling gives materials a new life and helps minimize landfill waste. Loyola has recycling bins in various places across campus for easy recycling. Together, we can create cleaner communities and a healthier environment for all!

Info Session: Tropical Ecology

Earn science credits by scuba-diving in Honduras and or hiking the rainforests of Panama this spring with the Tropical Ecology program! Learn more at this free, open information session on October 23 at 12:30PM in MO 318.

The primary goal of these field trips is for students to learn about terrestrial and marine ecosystems and immerse themselves in the local culture. Primary activities include extensive hiking through tropical forests, observing plants and animals in their natural habitats, exploring tree canopies, and snorkeling on the Mesoamerican barrier reef.

Join Loyola and Tulane in celebrating World Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 20th, by participating in a litter sweep of our neighborhood! 

Before the sweep, join us for light bites and educational tabling. Stick around afterwards while we tally our impact and enjoy live music and sno-balls from Imperial Woodpecker as a thank you for helping beautify the neighborhood!
