Join CIE for a CUP OF CULTURE! The Culture Cup is an international and internationally minded lounge space for all students to join with FREE coffee and snacks. 

Our next session in the Multicultural Room of the Danna Center (first floor) will be on Wednesday, September 18 from 12PM - 2PM. Our featured guest is Dr. John C. O'Day, the faculty director for our India J-term study abroad program. He'll be happy to answer any questions about his program. In addition to the usual coffee, we'll also be serving masala chai!

The International Festival is our celebration of some of the cultures that make our community truly vibrant. Whether you're interested in meeting international students or learning about opportunities to study abroad, this is the event for you! Come enjoy food, art, live music, and so much more!

CIE is launching a brand-new lounge space for international conversations, including free coffee and snacks.

The Center for International Education invites you to join us at our in-person Open House on Wednesday, August 28th from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM in Founders Hall Room 223. Come welcome our new international students, connect with internationally-minded Loyolans and CIE staff, and celebrate the start of the new 2024-2025 academic year!

The Awakening Retreat encourages students to experience the love of God through community. It's a great way to connect with other students and explore your spirituality. This weekend-long retreat is held at the beautiful Solomon Episcopal Conference Center in Loranger, LA. Based in our Jesuit, Catholic values, the Awakening Retreat is open to students from all religious and non-religious backgrounds who are looking to explore or grow in their spirituality. Fee waivers are available.

This Wilderness Immersion is an experience that focuses on building community, having fun away from campus in nature, and engaging in eco-spirituality/environmental justice. Participants will stay in comfy cabins and participate in nature hiking, paddling canoes in the lake, eating s'mores over bonfires, and lots of fun activities in community. It takes place once each semester at Chicot State Park, LA about 3 hours from Loyola's campus - transportation and meals provided.
