In commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day, there will be a virtual talk by Anne Levy. Ms. Levy is a Holocaust survivor who confronted neo-Nazi, former KKK grand wizard, and Louisiana State Representative David Duke in the State Capitol regarding Duke's denial of the Holocaust. Ms.

Dogs will be available for snuggles, kisses, belly rubs and fun!

This event is a conversation with Anahi Molina, Loyola English graduate, who will discuss her transition from Loyola graduate to freelance editor & indexer and nonfiction writer, to current MFA student at Northern Arizona University. Molina's story is an example of which career paths a Loyola English graduate can pursue after graduation.

This talk turns to Edmund Spenser’s epic-romance, The Faerie Queene, to inquire how literary forms transform the concept of nature into an engine of race-making. Dr. Debapriya Sarkar attends to the poetic apparatus that dehumanizes marginalized figures, turning them into symbol and allegory by linking them to wasted and unsalvageable environments.

The Country Fair showcases Loyola's diverse international community and gives students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to spend the afternoon "traveling" the world.

Join CIE for special Coffee@CIE on Wednesday, October 20 from 3:30 - 4:30 PM on Zoom. We'll be joined by Pedro Benitez ('15), Operations Manager at Cereza Coffee, for a discussion about Latin American Coffee and the Coffee Industry.

This talk explores the question of sexual consent in the Hebrew Bible, also known as the Old Testament. When is biblical sex about love or procreation, and when is it a weapon of power and domination?

It has been 20 years since the Class of 2001 graduated from the Loyola College of Law! To celebrate this milestone and reconnect, the Class of 2001 Reunion Committee has planned a cocktail reception in New Orleans for classmates and their guests.
