Looking for a way to build meaningful connections while exploring your spirituality? Join a CLC! Check us out at our Meet & Greet on Wednesday 9/15 at 7 pm in the Audubon Room. CLCs are small groups of 6-8 people that meet weekly to explore life and faith. Based in Ignatian Spirituality, CLCs are open to people from all faith and non-faith backgrounds.

To honor the worldwide Ignatian Year, the Jesuits of New Orleans, along with our five apostolic works, partners, friends, students and alumni in and around the city will celebrate our founder St. Ignatius of Loyola with a special liturgy on his feast day, July 31, at 12 noon, in Holy Name of Jesus Church. If you are in town that Saturday and able, I hope that you will join us. If you're otherwise engaged, please keep the Ignatian Year, Loyola University New Orleans, and the Jesuit mission in which we all share in your prayers.

What is happening at the present moment in our churches and communities related to young adults in their 20s and 30s? How are local parishes, campuses, dioceses, movements, and organizations navigating the post-pandemic re-opening process, the vaccine rollout, and new hybrid models of efforts with young adults? Come and discuss this important topic with other pastoral leaders across the United States, facilitated by the leadership of the USCCB's National Advisory Team on Young Adult Ministry.

As part of the Ignatian Year, the Alumni Association is offering a Virtual Ignatian Retreat in honor of the celebration of the Feast of St. Ignatius. The virtual retreat will start on Monday, July 26, and conclude with a Feast of St. Ignatius Mass on Saturday, July 31st. Retreat participants will receive a recorded prompt focusing on a different Jesuit value each morning. After reflecting on that value throughout the day, participants will come together for small group discussion via Zoom later in the afternoon.

As we enter the Fall season, LIM invites members of the Loyola community and the public to attend a free creation-centered retreat on Saturday, September 11, at 10 am Central Time. The retreat is based on the writings and lecture of Passionist priest Thomas Berry. The retreat will be conducted virtually using Zoom.
