Join with the entire Loyola community to celebrate the official spiritual beginning of the new academic year! All worldviews, religions, identities, and expressions are invited to the Mass. Loyola's orchestra, choir, dancers, and athletes along with student clubs, residence hall floors, and faculty and staff departments and offices all contribute to celebrate this Mass in grand style! 11 a.m. classes are canceled so that all may attend.

Looking to meet a great group of other first year students? Come on the First Year Retreat on Sat, Sep. 9 from Student Life & Ministry! This day-long retreat is a chance to get off campus, meet other first year students, hear talks from upper class students, look more deeply into Loyola's Jesuit values, and have a whole lot of fun!  The retreat is open to students from all faith and non-faith backgrounds.
