Join LUCAP for Creating a Beloved Community, an MLK Jr. Day art project that invites participants to reflect on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of justice, unity, and collective care. Community members will paint individual canvases that will be assembled into a shared Beloved Community Canvas Quilt, symbolizing how our unique stories and expressions come together to form something stronger.

Loyola's Christian ministries will each lead a 10-minute Bible study on a verse and in a style of their choosing. Free food will be served!

Student Life and Ministry invites the university community to join President Cole in celebrating the dedication of the current Magis Lounge, located on the lower level of the Danna Student Center, as the “Magis Catholic Community Lounge." The Magis Lounge will continue to welcome all students into a space now specifically intended to nurture students’ exploration of the Catholic faith. Refreshments will be served.

Inspired by the fourth Universal Apostolic Preference of the Society of Jesus, all are invited to join this ancient ritual of the Catholic faith to pray for the grace to live in generous collaboration with our common home, the Earth.

All are invited to enjoy eco-friendly food (vegetarian), games, music, environmental advocacy, and fellowship as we observe the 4th Universal Apostolic Preference of the Society of Jesus: Caring for our common home.

All are invited to discern among various hobbies how to identify who you are outside of being a student, inspired by the Society of Jesus' Universal Apostolic Preference #1: Showing the way to God through the Spiritual Exercises and discernment.

All are invited as we accompany our students in the creation of a hope-filled future (Society of Jesus Universal Apostolic Preference #3) by striving in friendly competition with each other to be our best and support each other's best efforts to accomplish our goals. Free food, student performances, trophies and medals!

All are invited to immerse yourselves in experiences of faith, spirituality, and prayer. 12:30pm Mass; 1-2pm Adoration and Confessions; 2-5pm Music; 5pm Lecture and Performance on Migration, Displacement, and Music. All day prayer resources and exhibits to deepen our commitment to showing the way to God through discernment and the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola.
