Every year Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of New Orleans (and elsewhere) seek out qualified teachers. This event is a conversation with Anahi Molina, Loyola English graduate, who will discuss her transition from Loyola graduate to freelance editor & indexer and nonfiction writer, to current MFA student at Northern Arizona University. Molina's story is an example of which career paths a Loyola English graduate can pursue after graduation.

The Department of Student Life and Ministry, Office of Residence Life, and Career Development Center are excited for our annual Sophomore Year Kickoff on October 5th, 2021 from 12 PM - 1:30 PM in the Peace Quad. Class of 2024 students are encouraged to come enjoy food, games, snoballs, music, and get your class t-shirt!

For the safety of students, staff, and our employer partners, the Fall 2021 Virtual Career Fair will be hosted virtually this year on Thursday, October 7, 2021, 12pm-5pm. This event has over 65 employers scheduled to attend and they want to meet with you!

Are you a graduating Senior or a recent Alum? Sign up for the 2021 Last Chance Career Fair and line up a post-graduation opportunity! This event is open exclusively to employers that are currently hiring. In our final career event for the academic year, the Last Chance Career Fair offers graduating seniors an opportunity to meet with potential full-time employers, and current students one more chance to network for summer jobs and internships or explore more career options. The Loyola Society for Francophone Cultures continues its Tournees Film Festival on Thurs., April 1 with the sultry, suspense-ridden drama Sibyl, and will run through April 15. Here's a summary of the plot:

Please join us for the 14 Annual Summer Institute for Catholic Educational Leadership co-sponsored by the Loyola Institute for Ministry and the Archdiocese of New Orleans Office of Catholic Education and Faith Formation. 

Dr. Kathleen Dorsey Bellow of Xavier University of Louisiana will lead this year's Institute entitled “Eucharist: Receiving and Becoming Christ” that will take place on Zoom 9AM-Noon Central Time, Monday and Tuesday June 7-8. The event is free and open to all leaders and aspiring leaders in Catholic education and faith formation.
