Join us for Loyola Opera Workshop’s first performance of the 2023-24 season! Our Opera Scenes programs are opportunities to hear a wide variety of our talented vocal students perform scenes from across the operatic repertoire. These scenes are presented in a semi-staged concert setting, with light staging elements. This event is produced by our Instructor of Opera Workshop, Carol Rausch.  

Come hear Loyola's top concert band students perform masterpieces from the band repertoire, led by our Director of Bands, Professor Brent Echols.

Mark your calendars! On May 1, the International Student Association, together with the Center for International Education, will be hosting our annual International Student Scholarship Soirée in the Audubon Room of the Danna Center from 5PM to 7PM.

CIE's King Cake Tasting is HERE! Come take part in a carnival culinary tradition!

Join CIE, ISA, and Cultural Connections for CIE's Annual King Cake Tasting! We'll be serving coffee and free samples of king cake made at various local New Orleans bakeries. All international students, study abroad returnees, and internationally-minded Loyolans are welcome to stop by! 

SSC Open House for Faculty and Staff - Frid Jan 19. 8:30-10:30 am

The SSC team invites all faculty and staff to visit between 8:30 am and 10:30 am on Friday, January 19. We will have coffee, king cake, and tours of our space! We hope to see you there!

Learn about the culture of Honduras while tasting Honduran food!

Stop by the front porch of the Danna Center on Friday, November 17, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM to meet some of Loyola's Honduran students. They'll offer culinary specialties from Honduras and will be excited to talk about their home country with you!

This event is open to all Loyolans and is free-of charge! 

Join CIE for coffee and crêpes during International Education Week!

For November's Coffee@CIE event, we'll be making crêpes and other French delicacies with some of our French exchange students. Join CIE for this cooking demo on Wednesday, November 15 at 1 PM in Founders Hall 223!

Attendees will learn how to prepare authentic French dishes, have the opportunity to connect with the international population, and sample good food. 

All are welcome to attend, but space is limited!
