It's Carnival Time - in Brazil!

Loyola Jazz Studies major Giulia Coutinho Barreto grew up in São Paulo, Brazil, and has been a successful musical performer in her home country for some time. Giulia will talk about Carnival traditions in Brazil and will perform some of its Carnival music for us in our January edition of Coffee @CIE on 1/28/21 at 12:30 pm.

The Loyola University Department of Student Life & Ministry and the Tulane University Lavin-Bernick Center are excited to co-host our City Wide Scavenger Hunt. Join us on February 6th as we give out clues and RTA passes for students to explore the Uptown New Orleans area!

Join us at 12:30 for a piano masterclass by Dr. Arunesh Nadgir, Coordinator of Keyboard Studies at Middle Tennessee State University. Performers include Jayne Edwards (Beethoven Sonata Op. 27 No. 1, Allegro Vivace) and Clinton Walker (Beethoven Sonata Op. 14 No. 1, Allegro).
