FreeJoin award winning author, attorney and cocktail historian Philip Greene, J.D. ’86 as he demonstrates how to make classics like the Tom Collins, Mojito, Southside, Daiquiri, and Jack Rose, the local favorites Hurricane and Ramos Gin Fizz, as well as the modern classic, the Jungle Bird. Greene will also discuss the history and folklore of these drinks, and their cameo appearances in movies, literature, and popular culture.
Cocktail recipes are shared with participants in advance of the program for those who’d like to make their own drinks at home.

FreeAs part of the Ignatian Year, the Alumni Association is offering a Virtual Ignatian Retreat in honor of the celebration of the Feast of St. Ignatius. The virtual retreat will start on Monday, July 26, and conclude with a Feast of St. Ignatius Mass on Saturday, July 31st. Retreat participants will receive a recorded prompt focusing on a different Jesuit value each morning. After reflecting on that value throughout the day, participants will come together for small group discussion via Zoom later in the afternoon.
