NEW ORLEANS- October 28, 2026- Loyola University New Orleans will honor Jack Dardis '63 and
Winston Connolly ’95 at the College of Business Alumni Luncheon on November 6.

Jack Dardis '63 has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Alden “Doc” Laborde
Award for Ethical Entrepreneurship. The award was established by the Center for Spiritual Capital
and named in honor of Alden “Doc” Laborde, the recipient of the inaugural Award for Ethical
Entrepreneurship. The award honors entrepreneurs who exercise their imagination to create new
opportunities for customers and employees while embodying strong character and honoring the
responsibility of morality for entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Jack is a graduate of Jesuit, Loyola, and Harvard Business School. He served four years in the U.S.
Army, retiring as a Captain with numerous honors, including two Purple Hearts. Jack is chairman of
Dardis Couvillon & Associates, where he views his work as a vocation: an opportunity to serve God
by helping others navigate difficult circumstances.

He has devoted decades to service through Jesuit, the Sierra Club, the Sugar Bowl, Catholic
Charities, the Archdiocese of New Orleans, Manresa, and many other organizations. His
contributions have earned honors, including Jesuit Alumnus of the Year, the Pope John Paul II
Award, the Pro Ecclesiae et Pontifice Medal, the Order of St. Louis Medallion, and Loyola’s Adjutor
Hominum Award.

Winston Connolly ’95 has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Alumnus of the Year
Award. Winston is an independent director, licensed by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority,
and a corporate attorney with more than three decades in financial services.

He serves as a trusted fiduciary to hedge funds, private equity funds, and public companies —
guiding alternative investment vehicles through every stage of their lifecycle.

His path runs from banking analyst at what is now the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, through
the region’s top offshore law firms Maples and Calder and Walkers, to managing partner and equity
partner roles at Chancery ESG, Lainston International Management, and HighWater Ltd. Called to
the Cayman Islands Bar and admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales, he also stepped into
public life as a Member of the Cayman Islands Parliament for George Town from 2013 to 2017.

Off the clock, Winston leads with the same energy he brings to the boardroom: Assistant Governor
of Rotary International District 7020, a member of the Visiting Committee of the College of
Business at Loyola University New Orleans, a Trustee of the International College of the Cayman
Islands, a board member of Cayman Connection, and a longtime champion of causes spanning
renewable energy, cancer support, and youth development across the Cayman Islands.

Jack and Winston will be honored Friday, November 6, at the College of Business Alumni Luncheon
at The Audubon Tea Room in New Orleans.
