Loyola University New Orleans Earns “Best for Vets” Recognition from Military Times
Loyola University New Orleans is proud to announce its inclusion in the 2024 Best for Vets: Colleges rankings released by Military Times. The ranking considers services and practical information available to help veterans make important decisions about career planning and using the education benefits they earned through military service.
Achieving Best for Vets status this year, alongside past distinctions as a Military Friendly and Yellow Ribbon institution, underscores Loyola’s sustained efforts to foster an inclusive, veteran-friendly environment. Loyola’s formal partnership with the Air Force to provide online degree opportunities to service members in the Air and Space Force, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard further exemplifies its commitment to serving the unique needs of military-affiliated students and their families.
"This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to providing a welcoming, supportive environment where military service members and veterans can thrive academically and personally,” said President Xavier Cole. “We are proud to stand alongside our nation’s veterans and to be a part of their educational journey."
“Best for Vets” rankings, based on a rigorous analysis by Military Times, evaluate schools’ veteran-focused programs, Department of Education data, and feedback from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Loyola is honored to be among the 304 institutions recognized nationwide.
