Loyola Law Ranks First Among Louisiana Law Schools for July 2021 Bar Exam
Recent alumni to be sworn in today in Roussel Hall
(NEW ORLEANS – November 4, 2021) Loyola Law ranked first among Louisiana law schools for the July 2021 Bar Examination, with 92% of first-time takers passing.
The Louisiana Supreme Court announced the July 2021 Bar Examination results in October, and Loyola Law ranked first among Louisiana law schools in both first-time test takers and overall takers. The results can be found here.
“We are proud and not surprised of their success of this class,” said Dean and Adrian G. Duplantier Professor of Law Madeleine M. Landrieu. “It’s a testament to their hard work and the dedication of our faculty and staff.”
The Dean, faculty and staff of Loyola University New Orleans College of Law will host a swearing-in ceremony this afternoon, welcoming the newest Loyola Law alumni to the Louisiana Bar.
The ceremony will be held at 4 pm., Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021 in the Louis J. Roussel Performance Hall in the university. Free parking is available in the West Road parking garage. A champagne reception will follow.
