Congratulations to the College of Law's newest student practitioners!

Last week, 76 students were sworn in to practice in the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic. Under faculty supervision, these students will represent real clients in one of the clinic's nine sections: child welfare & domestic violence, civil litigation, criminal appeals, disability justice, family law, immigration, youth defense, and two sections of criminal defense.

Students were sworn in by the Hon. Robin Pittman, '91, JD '96, and spent the afternoon meeting with their sections to discuss the year ahead.

The law clinic is one of the most important examples of the College of Law's commitment to academics, justice, and service. More information on the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic can be found here.
