Learn how you can earn credits, explore new cultures, and gain global experience while studying in countries around the world. We’ll cover program options, application tips, scholarships, and how to make your international adventure a reality. Come see how far your Loyola education can take you!    Special Program: "Music as Trans-Boundary Language and Historical Memory"Chapel of St. Ignatius - Gayle and Tom Benson Jesuit Center - Main Campus 5:00PM - 6:00 PM This unique program, led by Loyola historian Dr. Benan Grams, will explore Middle Eastern history and musical traditions, and the power of music to connect cultures, preserve historical memory, and inspire collaboration across disciplines. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH The Language of Branding - Workshop and Resume ClinicMultimedia Room 1 - Monroe Library - Main Campus 12:30PM - 3:00 PM This workshop, presented by career coach Xavi Lacayo from the Career Development Center, is designed to help international students translate their stories into powerful brands. The initial workshop will run from 12:30 - 1:20PM. The specialized résumé clinic will be held afterwards from 1:20 - 3:00PM. Additional details for this event can be found here.   The Statues Tell The Story:  The Role of Louisiana in Statues of Spanish-Speaking HeroesMultimedia Room 2 - Monroe Library - Main Campus 3:00PM - 5:00 PM Join us for a special presentation from Robert Gray Freeland, from the Friends of the Cabildo, about six of New Orleans' famous statues to Spanish-speaking historical figures, like Benito Juárez and Simón Bolívar, and their relationship to the city, to Spain, and to Latin and South America. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19TH CIE Culture Cup: Languages Around the World!Tchoupitoulas Room Prefunction Space - Uptown Hall First Floor - Main Campus 12:00PM - 2:00PM Join CIE for a CUP OF CULTURE! The Culture Cup is an international and internationally minded lounge space for all students to join with FREE coffee and snacks. Our guests for this session will hail from 8 different countries and will be waiting to talk with you about their experiences as multilingual Loyola students. They can answer questions about the importance of local language when traveling, and share tips for learning another language effectively. This event is open to Loyola's entire international community.
