Add to Calendar 2026-03-12 19:00:00 2026-03-12 20:00:00 Creation on the Move: Ecological Migration in an Integral Ecology Tracey Lamont, Ph.D.., will present "Creation on the Move: Ecological Migration in an Integral Ecology," examining how climate change and ecological degradation drive migration, and how Catholic social teaching calls us to respond. Dr. Lamont is the Director of the Loyola Institute for Ministry (LIM) and Associate Professor of Religious Education and Young Adult Ministry. She is the principal investigator on several grants LIM has received on ministry with young adults and on synodality. She chairs LIM's Thomas Berry Project and integrates creation into all her teaching.  The 2026 Lecture Series, Walking with the Migrant: Jubilee, Justice, and Hope, features one-hour virtual lectures that explore the spiritual, scriptural, and ecological dimensions of migration through the lens of Catholic faith, highlighting it as both a lived human experience and a call to solidarity, justice, and hope in today’s world.
