This year’s festival will be a celebration of New Orleans Trumpet Masters. We will be featuring Wendell Brunious, Leroy Jones, and Jamil Sharif as guest artists and clinicians for the 2023 Loyola University Jazz Ensemble Festival. The festival is open to big bands and jazz combos from the Elementary through College level, who will perform and receive a clinic from our panel of expert musicians and educators. Various awards, including scholarships to the Loyola University Summer Jazz Camp, will also be given. Included with registration are FREE Master Classes for all instruments on Friday and Saturday at 12:30 p.m., taught by the Loyola Jazz Faculty, and a Masterclass by the New Orleans Trumpet Masters.  Friday, March 3: Loyola Faculty Jazz Concert 4:30 pm Louis J.
