(Orbis Books 2022). About Ansel Ansel is a Loyola graduate (Loyola BA 2000, Loyola MPS 2002) and member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He currently serves as the director for the Office of Black Catholic Ministries for the Archdiocese of New Orleans and is the director for Vagabond Missions, a charity that introduces inner-city teens to Jesus and a loving community by mobilizing missionaries. He is a member of Wild Tchoupitoulas Mardi Gras Indians and is a parishioner at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.
