Bio

Timothy Buisson joined the Wolf Pack swimming coaching staff in the fall of 2018, after graduating from Loyola University New Orleans as a two-year member of the team himself. The Hattiesburg, Miss. native joins Thomas Natal's staff with seven years of coaching experience, having coached Olympic Trial qualifiers, NCAA DI National Championship qualifiers, NCAA All-Americans and multiple high school state champions.

As a member of the Wolf Pack men's swim team, Buisson earned 2018 All-American honors in the 400-yard medley relay and was a six-time All-American Honorable Mention. The program's first-ever captain, he was a member of the inaugural team during the 2016-17 season after transferring over from South Georgia State College.

In his one season at South Georgia State, Buisson was a two-time NJCAA All-American, with his team placing second at the 2016 NJCAA Swimming and Diving National Championships. He spent his freshman season in college at Darton State, before the program was cut.
