Bio
Taylor Counce is an accomplished classical guitarist and educator based in New Orleans. With a profound commitment to both the art of performance and the craft of teaching, Taylor brings a wealth of expertise and passion to each endeavor.
In 2023, Taylor Counce founded the New Orleans Guitar Studio, a thriving hub for aspiring guitarists to develop their skills under expert guidance. His dedication to nurturing talent extends to his role as an adjunct professor of classical guitar at his alma mater, Loyola University New Orleans. A testament to his exceptional musicianship, Taylor is also the founder and active member of the New Orleans Guitar Quartet, established in 2019.
Beyond teaching, Taylor’s performances resonate with audiences, whether as a soloist, part of a duo, or with the New Orleans Guitar Quartet. His repertoire spans a diverse range of musical styles and periods, showcasing his versatility and depth as a musician.
