Bio
Dr. Rachel Chrzan earned her BSc in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Tulane University and her MSN from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. She completed her doctoral studies at Loyola University New Orleans, specializing as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
She provides comprehensive care to patients with hematologic malignancies throughout the Gulf South, with experience spanning acute care, infusion, clinical research, and survivorship settings. She has served in leadership roles within oncology nursing and clinical research. Her scholarly interests include quality improvement, evidence-based practice, cellular therapy, and reducing delays in access to CAR T-cell therapy.
Dr. Chrzan is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology, and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Dr. Chrzan joined the Loyola University New Orleans School of Nursing faculty in the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program in 2025.
