Bio

Professor Tufts received her JD from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she served as casenote/book review editor for the Loyola Law Review.

After graduation, she practiced law with the law firm of Phelps Dunbar and then as a corporate attorney for Texaco Inc. working primarily in the areas of oil and gas regulation. Most recently she practiced law with the firm of Kean, Miller, Hawthorne, D’Armond, McCowan, & Jarman. In addition to coordinating the College of Law's Academic Success Program, she has taught Legal Research & Writing and Moot Court.
