Jesuit-educated and grounded in a rich background in religious education and spirituality, she combines her academic expertise with a profound commitment to social justice. Inspired by the teachings of mystics like St. Teresa of Ávila and St. Francis of Assisi, as well as the transformative activism of leaders like Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, and John Lewis, she combines her academic expertise with a profound commitment to social justice. She feels deeply called to help others experience God’s love and foster unity amid diversity.
