Bio

Lindsay Anne Williams, MA is an actor, producer, writer, and production/costume designer, and serves as Adjunct Faculty in Filmmaking at Loyola University New Orleans. She has worked professionally in film since 2012 and brings interdisciplinary production experience across performance, producing, production design, and costume design into the classroom. Williams is a founding member and producer with Historia Films, which has produced and achieved international distribution for multiple feature films and short-form projects, including The Dinner Party, Demigod, and Open, among others.

Williams’ professional credits span independent features and studio-distributed productions. She most recently served as Costume Designer and Art Director on Lionsgate’s The Devil’s Workshop and as Production Designer on Mindreader. Her design work reflects a production-centered approach to visual storytelling that integrates costume, art direction, and narrative world-building. In addition to her film work, Williams has an extensive background in theatre performance and design, having appeared in and designed for productions including Cabaret, Oliver!, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Evita, often serving in dual performance and design roles that inform her interdisciplinary approach to creative collaboration.

Williams holds a Master’s degree in Ancient History from the University of Southern Mississippi. Her academic background complements her professional practice by grounding production design and costume work in historical research, material culture, and contextual analysis. Through active professional work and classroom engagement, she models collaborative production practices, design workflows, and industry standards for students, contributing to the program’s emphasis on professional preparation, interdisciplinary craft, and practice-based learning.
