Bio
Dr. Hunter is an existential psychotherapist and gerontologist. She teaches the Thanatology course, as well as other courses, and serves as the program's clinical and admissions coordinator. She finds fulfillment in guiding students as they uncover professional identities as counselors that truly resonate with their authentic selves. In practice, Dr. Hunter is dedicated to exploring the deeper questions of human existence with her clients, especially as they relate to the aging process, with a focus on helping individuals find meaning, purpose, and resilience.
