A New Orleans native, Kathleen graduated from Tulane University School of Law in 1994.  After law school, she worked as a prosecutor at the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office, where she tried over 60 criminal jury cases.  She then worked as an Associate Attorney at the law firm of Middleberg, Riddle and Gianna in the areas of medical malpractice and asbestos litigation.  She left the firm to work as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Kernan Hand and the Hon. Glenn Ansardi of the 24th Judicial District Court, and then as a research attorney for the Hon. Tiffany Gautier Chase at the Court of Appeal, Fourth Circuit.  She joined Loyola's College of Law Career Development Office (CDO) as a career advisor in October 2022. Kathleen has worked on regular "Pathways to Careers in..." events presented by the CDO, through which law students may learn about careers in public interest law, government law, the judiciary, and the various branches of the JAG Corps. She is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association, the Jefferson Parish Bar Association, and the National Association for Bar Placement (NALP).

Prior to law school, Kathleen obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Tulane.  Her elder daughter obtained her undergraduate degree from Loyola University New Orleans, and her brother obtained his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.  She enjoys reading, music, and travel with her family.
