Bio

John Klee, a native of Lake Orion, Michigan, has served as Community Director for Buddig Hall since mid-June 2025. Before working at Loyola University New Orleans, he served as Director of Bands at Grand Blanc High School & Bobcat Innovation, where he led an accomplished program consisting of five concert bands, marching band, pep band, and a musical pit orchestra. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2022 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the Honors College and most recently graduated with his Master’s Degree in K-12 Educational Administration from Michigan State University after completing his administrative internship as a Principal Intern at Brendel Elementary in Grand Blanc, MI. Recently, he has begun his journey for a PhD in Educational Administration with a concentration in Higher Education Administration at the University of New Orleans. 

Klee believes in cultivating a welcoming, safe, and inclusive learning environment where all students and staff feel comfortable, engaged, empowered, and inspired to grow their professional skills while maintaining a centralized focus on evolving into the greatest possible versions of themselves as lifelong learners and leaders.
