Jenna Martin

Jennifer “Jenna” Bourgeois Martin has 13 years of experience as a nurse anesthesia educator. A three-time graduate of LSU Health Sciences Center, she earned her BSN in 1999, a Master of Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia in 2005, and a post-master's Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2013. Prior to pursuing nurse anesthesia, Dr. Martin worked as a neonatal and adult cardiac ICU nurse. She has practiced as a full-time CRNA in a variety of hospitals and clinical settings, with specialties in pediatric, obstetric, and office-based anesthesia. She continues to provide anesthesia care one day a week at a local hospital specializing in surgical reconstruction for breast cancer survivors and holds credentials at all major hospitals throughout the Greater New Orleans area.
