J. Robert Barnes

Dr. Robert Barnes received his Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University New Orleans. He then proceeded to obtain his Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University. Dr. Barnes completed his residency in psychiatry from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and became a clinical associate professor of psychiatry at LSU Medical School. Dr. Barnes is board certified in psychiatry and a member of the distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Barnes has been a psychiatric consultant to Loyola University’s Counseling Center since 1989.
