Gianluca Cocito-Monoc

Gianluca Cocito-Monoc teaches Federal Courts at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and serves as Counsel to Judge James L. Dennis of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He previously clerked for Judge Dennis and for Judge Susie Morgan of the Eastern District of Louisiana. A graduate of Tulane University, he earned his J.D. summa cum laude in 2022 and his B.S. magna cum laude in 2019. His research examines how federal courts use procedural doctrines to shape access to judicial review and influence the development of substantive law.
