Bio

Dorian Rolston, LMSW is a staff counselor at the University Counseling Center. He received his Master's in Social Work at Tulane University, where his focus area was Mental Health, Addiction, and the Family. He holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of Arizona and has taught the personal essay for over a decade. His approach is largely person-centered and informed by psychodynamic theories about the unconscious, creativity, and healing. His clinical interests include family and relationship issues, suicide and self-harm, addiction, psychosis, anxiety, and depression.
