Bio

With more than 15 years of experience in the field, Beau Haynes has  represented a diverse group of health care providers as a partner in Phelps Dunbar’s healthcare practice group.  Beau’s experience ranges from serving as  in-house counsel for one of Louisiana’s largest health care providers to a practicing attorney in a boutique health care firm setting.  Beau helps health care providers address business, legal and regulatory issues, including, but not to corporate governance, privacy and security matters; health care regulatory and compliance matters; strategic transactions including mergers, acquisitions,  and joint ventures, and management services organizations; innovative or alternative health care delivery models; and telehealth and digital health matters

Originally from Terre Haute, Indiana, Beau has a bachelor’s degree in public health from Indiana University-Bloomington and received a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University-New Orleans College of Law.  Before finding his way to New Orleans, Beau spent time in Chicago working for a healthcare communications company.  Beau’s health care endeavors extend beyond the practice of law as he is a frequent guest speaker on health care-related issues and serves as an adjunct professor for various academic institutions.
