Bio

Amani Bryant joined the men's and women's cross country and track and field teams' coaching staff in the fall of 2018. She joined head coach Kevin Licht's staff after spending a year at Penn State University where she was a volunteer assistant. During her time in State College, Penn. she helped coach sprints, hurdles and relays for the Nittany Lions, while coaching sprinters at the State College HEAT Track Club. Bryant helped coach the 4x100-meter relay teams at Penn State that qualified for the NCAA regional, with the men's team reaching the NCAA Championships.

A graduate from the University of Florida, Bryant was a member of the track and field team and was named an All-American in 2012 in the 4x400-meter relay. After a successful collegiate career, she qualified for the Track and Field USA Trials in 2013, and ran professionally.

Bryant earned her bachelor's degree from the College of Health and Human Performance at Florida, and is a certified master personal fitness trainer under both the American Aerobic Association International and International Sports Medicine Association.
