Alan serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Loyola University New Orleans. With a career spanning over 25 years in the field of information technology, Alan has cultivated a diverse background in both university and corporate settings. His expertise encompasses research, instructional, and enterprise computing, making him a well-rounded leader in the dynamic landscape of IT.

Before assuming his role at Loyola, Alan served as the IT Director for Database and Support Services at LSU Health Sciences Center, where he played a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the institution's information technology infrastructure. His leadership was instrumental in supporting the expanded use of technology across LSUHSC's missions of education, research, patient care, and community outreach. Alan's impact extended beyond LSUHSC, as he also held the position of IT Director for The Louisiana Cancer Research Center, showcasing his commitment to advancing technology in critical areas of healthcare and research.

A proud native of New Orleans, Alan resides in Metairie with his wife and son. His educational journey includes earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Louisiana State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of New Orleans.
