Regalia Information

Academic Attire

In keeping with academic tradition, all those participating in the inauguration ceremony academic procession on Friday, November 10 are to be attired in the appropriate regalia for their field of study and highest degree earned.

Note: The Inaugural Missioning Mass on Thursday, November 9 will not feature an academic procession.

Regalia Rental

Regalia may be rented through the Loyola Bookstore in the Danna Student Center either in person or via email at: sm8275@bncollege.com

You will need to provide the following information: highest degree earned and field of study; institution from which that degree was earned; height; weight; dress size or suit jacket size.

Rental costs are as follows:

Bachelor's Degree: $75 (tax not included)
Master's Degree: $85 (tax not included)
Doctorate Degree: $100 with mortar board; $150 with tam (tax not included)
Juris Doctor: $100 with mortar board; $150 with tam (tax not included)

Rental regalia orders must be placed by October 6 to guarantee the correct institution and hood lining color. Thursday, October 12 is the absolute rental order cutoff, though the hood lining color may or may not be accurate.

Pick Up

Rental regalia may be picked up during regular Bookstore hours from Monday, November 6 through Friday, November 10.

The Bookstore is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Return

The Bookstore will be open the evening of Friday, November 10 until 6 p.m. to accept the return of rental regalia following the ceremony and reception.

All rental regalia must be returned to the Bookstore by Tuesday, November 14.
